Who we saw doing what with who last night... LONDONeye S IMON COWELL says he wants to get to the bottom of why the nation seems to hate Danyl Johnson -- after the singers shock finish in the last two hopefuls of X Factor at the weekend. Danyl was the show favourite last week, only to leave the judging panel flabbergasted when he came joint last in the public vote, along with girlband Miss Frank. The panel sent Miss Frank home, but it left Simon scratch- ing his head over why the talented music teacher, 27, didnt do better. He said: I always believe that the public should vote for these competitions. Having said that, he wasnt the worst person last night. So something isnt clicking. There have been numerous reports in the papers that Danyl has been bullying the other contestants, with Louis Walsh branding him vile. And Kandy Rains Azi Jegbefume said hes really two-faced. Simon added last night: I think Im going to have to get to the bottom of lots of the stories that are going around, people saying he is bullying them and stuff. I dont believe them but I think that they have an effect and were going to have to clear that up. People just dont seem to like him. There have been stories written about him that people are not getting on with him, and he is going to have to put his side of the story across. Simon looked rather cheesed off as he left the studio last night, and he cer- tainly has his work cut out for him this week. Danyl said last night: We try not to read the papers much. I just dont know how the public are voting. Im just going to have to make sure I pick the right songs. Mel B appeared on ITV2s Xtra Factor last night, where she offered her two p e nc e wo r t h o n Danyl. The Spice Girl said: Maybe he has been a little bit too cocky. He should be a bit more sensitive. 8 Monday, 26 October 2009 London Lite Cowellprobesbullyrumours SHOWING that Britain truly does have a great sense of humour, John and Edward survived another week of X Factor.
