Its an initially arresting approach, but once the parallel has been drawn the point is never developed until the Enemy Within drags wearyingly, a hefty hammer to crack a minuscule nut. Tonights opener covers pretty much all the major entertain- ment bases: graphic sex, brutal violence and underwater chases -- you couldnt hope for more from a James Bond movie. Even if those scenes feature, respec- tively, a giant Pacific octopus thatll mother a brood of thou-Killing time: a sailfish closes on its prey in Attenboroughs Life Coronation Street ITV1, 7.30pm/8.30pm MOLLy (Vicky Binns, pictured) doesnt seem to be the same any more, and tyrone starts to suspect that shes no longer interested in him. Meanwhile, its very much the morning after the night before for Lloyd, and hes not sure what he got up to with teresa was a good idea. the BBC natural History unit (the corporations ace in the pack should always trump Brand/Ross misdemeanours when it comes to the licence fee debate) gives us shots that enthral in every kind of way. In icky close-ups a Venus fly- trap has its way with an unsus- p e c t i n g i n s e c t , a n d a chameleons tongue unfurls to phenomenal length to lasso a praying mantis. Then theres the heartbreak- ing moment a penguin chick has its first foray into the ocean abruptly curtailed by a leopard seal, and -- a swift remedy -- the heart-warming sight of two grebes in a water-skimming dance of courtship that would get top marks from Alesha, Bruno and Len.
