The Met is assessing the footage to determine whether it involves one of its officers. The clip shows a man, dressed in pro- tective uniform with his face covered by a balaclava and helmet, on a rooftop where his friends take turns to fire metal gun pellets to test his armour-plated clothing while laughing. In four short clips posted on the video- sharing website, the uniformed man, who does not reveal his identity, brags that he cannot feel a thing as two others repeatedly fire at him with a 4.5mm gas-powered BB gun. One of the men, who has an Australian accent, smashes a beer bottle by shooting at it then points it at his friend in the uniform, who says: And this is what it does to a member of the Met. A Met spokeswoman said: This mate- rial has been passed to the directorate of professional standards to assess what action can be taken.
