THESE are the first images of Ray Winstone in an anti-knife crime film made in memory of actor Rob Knox. The Sexy Beast hardman waived his usual fee to star in the 15-minute film Cold Kiss, made by friends of the murdered teenage Harry Potter star. Winstone, 52, who plays a father whose only daughter is involved in a gang, said he felt overwhelmed to be part of the project. He added: Knife crime seems to be getting worse. Something has to be done -- any film, whatever angle it takes, is going to do some good. Ive seen a lot about those who commit these crimes, but you dont see much about how it affects the people maimed and killed. Thats the approach this film adds. Robs younger brother Jamie is also in Cold Kiss. He approached Winstone to appear, having met him on the set of King Arthur five years ago. Rob, 18, who played Marcus Belby in Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, was stabbed to death outside the Metro Bar, Sidcup, Kent, in May last year by Karl Bishop, 22, who was jailed for life. Robs father Colin is executive producer of the film, which is being made by professional film-makers Aaron Truss and Nirpal Bhogal. The pair made friends with Jamie and Rob at the D&B Theatre School, Bromley. Mr Truss said: Dealing with the grief of losing Rob has been emotional for me, but you have to put that aside and knuckle down. I have been completely overwhelmed by the support we have received. All proceeds from the film, to be finished this month, will go towards the Rob Knox Memorial Fund.
