Coming from a London fash- ionista who certainly doesnt lack style credentials, this was no surprise. Sienna said: London girls are at the forefront. I think mine and Savs biggest inspiration for this collection was driving through London. So there you have it, maybe it was you that inspired the labels look for next season, which includes lots of stone- wash denim, butter-soft leather and khakis alongside sexy crop tops, cut-out swim- suits, minidresses and playsuits. The device, called Apollo, which can detect almost instantly if a phone has been lost or stolen, is being deployed in Bromley. It can read a mobiles serial number, or IMEI, and is linked wire- lessly to a national stolen- phone database. Police in south London are being equipped with the scan- ner and officers in Ealing are using it on a trial basis. Bromley borough commander Chief Superintendent Charles Griggs said: It is another tool. If we find people with stolen phones they can be arrested. The scanners makers say it is also useful in the fight against more serious crime and terrorism. Andy Gill, managing director of Radio Tactics, said since networks started blocking stolen mobile numbers many phones are taken abroad, where terrorist networks use them to make money.
