Its just a poor mans Bolt. Sam Rockwell, Penlope Cruz (in her least sexy role to date) and Jon Favreau provide the voices for three talking rodents and Nicolas Cage is their geeky mole sidekick. Together they must save the world from Bill Nighys killer toasters and coffee machines. The plot is too complex for kids, too simple for adults and there arent enough jokes for either. My youngest has had nightmares ever since and wont go near the kitchen. Not quite the summer holiday diversion Id expected -- though the glasses were pretty cool.
