Who we saw doing what with who last night... LONDONeye come from the Nokia Skate Almighty launch at Tower Bridge (they must have had their skates still on). K a l o u w a s b r o u g h t t o Whisky Mist by his girlfriend and was said to be reluc- tant to go inside, prefer- ring an early night. But dragged in by his partner, the Ivory Coast interna- tional discovered a sur- prise party in the VIP area set up for him under the watchful eye of Terry. Bagpipes started playing and then teammates struck up a chorus of Happy Birthday. One noticeable absentee was Ashley Cole, who coudnt make it because he was trapped under a thumb at home. I T WAS a case of Blues and royals at Whisky Mist last night when Chelsea footballers denied Prince Harry his usual spot in the VIP area. The Premiership stars were there to celebrate the 24th birthday of teammate Salomon Kalou, and would have been happy to have Harry sit among them. But the Prince chose to sit elsewhere, and had his own VIP area roped off where he sat with his pal Guy Pelly. Its probably just as well -- he might have been made to look a bit of a skinflint as the Chelsea boys flexed their credit cards and spent an eye-watering 120,000 on booze. Captain John Terry spent 60,000 on cham- pagne and cocktails alone -- and then drove home in his Bentley without drinking a drop. He wasnt just nice to the players and their WAGs either. He even left staff a 10,000 tip as a thank you. Prince Harry, a regu- lar at the nightclub and never one to miss out on a party, contrib- uted to the occasion -- sending Kalou a congratulatory bot- tle of champagne f r o m h i s o w n table. P l aye r s a l s o ordered four in- hou s e s p e c i a l Quaich Trophy cocktails, served in a huge Victorian silver cup, costing 400 each. Kalou, with girl- friend in tow, himself picked up a 34,000 tab. Other players to join in the celebra- tions included Michael Ballack and Didier Drogba.
