On this site you avoid the heartbreak, not to mention endless cleaning and feeding, by watching someone elses tank via webcam. You can even write fish care suggestions. amiannoying.com THIS takes a long, hard look at the famous to establish whether they are annoying. Many entries hail from the US, but europeans are there too, including an interesting take on our very own winston Churchill. Annoying: smoked cigars, looked like a bulldog. Less annoying: being left-handed. kELLY ARmStRONG EMAIL YOUR TIMEWASTERS TO: wasters@thisislondon.co.uk/lite Timew@ster What to browse when the boss isnt looking Fathers and son: Ivan Sigston and partner Steven Ponder with William, who they are planning to adopt by gEorgINA LIttLEjohNTWO gay policemen who became the first British same-sex couple to have a baby through a surrogate related to one of them are both still married to other men, it emerged today. Steven Ponder, 28, a special constable, and his partner Ivan Sigston, 43, a Hampshire Police dog handler, began an affair after they met when they were with their previous partners. Mr Ponder is seeking a divorce from cleaner Ian Briggs, 49, while Mr Sigston is also divorcing former partner Steve Aylett, 38, a banker. Earlier this week it was revealed that Mr Ponders sister, Lorna Bradley, last month gave birth to a baby conceived using Mr Sigstons sperm. The two men are now bringing up the baby, named William, at their Southampton home and plan to legally adopt him. The two gay couples are reported to have met several years ago through a gay networking site and their shared interest in dogs. After becoming close friends, both couples were witnesses to each others civil partnership ceremonies in 2007. But neither marriage lasted more than a few months and Mr Ponder and Mr Sigston began a relationship. However it was disclosed today that Mr Briggs is resist- ing Mr Ponders divorce application. Mr Briggs was quoted as saying: It is clear they were having an affair behind our backs. The weddings must have been a sham as they became a couple within months. He claims to have been left in debt by Mr Ponder, but added: I still love him and want him back. Mr Aylett has agreed to a speedy divorce from Mr Sigston, which is expected to be finalised within weeks. Mr Aylett was quoted as saying: Ive put it behind me and want to look ahead. Mrs Bradley, 31, who is married with three children, is said to have volun- teered to have the baby for her brother and his partner out of sisterly love and no fee was paid. Because Mr Sigston was not registered as the father on the birth certificate, he and Mr Ponder have to adopt the three-week-old baby. Callous: Paul Page A FORMER royal protection officer at the heart of poker and porn allegations at Buckingham Palace was jailed for six years today. Paul Page, 38, had defrauded 57 friends, colleagues and their families out of 3m in a property scam, using the proceeds to fuel his gambling habit. Page was condemned by the judge, Recorder Geoffrey Rivlin, as breathtakingly dishonest, relentless and callous. The judge said that many of the victims had been left financially crippled. He added that Page was fortunate that the maximum sentence at the time of his deceit, 2003 to 2006, was just seven years. The ex- police officer just shrugged and smiled at his wife Laura as he was led from the dock. Father-of-five Page, of Grays, Essex, was convicted of fraudulent trading earlier this month at Southwark Crown Court. During the trial he had claimed there was a culture of porn and steroid trading, poker games, drinking and sleeping on duty in the SO14 Royal Protection Squad. Sentencing today, the judge hit out at Pages vindictive attitude. Page was attached to SO14 at Buckingham and St Jamess Palaces. He began taking money from colleagues to invest in financial market movements and then in bogus property projects run by his company, ULPD, which he privately termed United P*ss Your Savings Up Against A Wall.
