The antiviral medication is being snapped up in unprecedented amounts as concern over the outbreak increases. One online distributor said demand is being fuelled by people worried that official clinics wont get Tamiflu to them in time. The boom in internet sales comes as a new official way of distributing antivirals was said to be causing confusion and rule-breaking. Patients at Londons first NHS Tamiflu distribution centre admitted ignoring government advice to get their hands on the medication. By the end of the week every area in the country must set up a distribu- tion centre, where people can pick up Tamiflu for friends with swine flu.
