Cardiff magistrates sentenced her to four months in jail, suspended for 12 months, plus 250 hours of unpaid work. A conduct and compe- tence committee of the nursing And Midwifery Council heard yesterday that Ms Baiete-Coker was torn between the two cities because her fianc lived in London but her mother, who was ill with a brain tumour, lived in the Welsh capital. she told the hearing: I didnt gain anything. The money went on the tremen- dous travelling, not a lavish lifestyle. I always made sure I gave the best for my patients. I am very remorseful. The panel found that Ms Baiete- Cokers fitness to practice was impaired and she was suspended for a year. An InVesTIGATIOn is to begin to see what can be done to ease overcrowding on the Tube.
