Stevie Wonder, right, had his first US No1 at the age of 13, and has since gone on to create one of the great back catalogues in pop and r&B. Watch this gig from The o2 last year and youll find yourself singing along to tune after tune: Uptight (Everythings Alright), Signed, Sealed, Delivered Im Yours and Superstition. Time making your cuppa right to miss out on the mawkish Eighties ballads. UR SO V4IN Channel 4, 7.35pm ToNIghTS debut film-maker is Ellena Wood, who takes an entertaining look at the peculiar phenomenon of personalised number plates. Just who are these people who need to spend thousands to remind themselves or others of their names? here we meet a quartet of Nigels and discover what motivates them to shell out for the ultimate accessory: one has N2gEL on the back of his motor, but of course he has to take second place to the man who paid 80,000 for N1gEL. A light-hearted illustration of the wise old saw: A fool and his money are soon parted. W ell, I have to say Im disappointed. I missed Horne And Corden when it first went out on BBC3, but Id heard the tales and read the reviews. Here it seemed was a fully feathered, all-gobbling turkey, a potential career-finisher, a Medusa of a would-be comedy to turn all those watching stoney-faced. But now the sketch show series has its terrestrial pre- miere and I have to say, its actually not that bad. Ill go still further -- Horne And Corden is outright mid- dling, no worse than, say, an average instalment of the recent series of little Britain USA, while those of us whove borne witness to Al MurraysDouble trouble: Mathew Horne and James Corden entertain Coronation Street ITV1, 7.30pm/8.30pm KEvINS all set for an evening at Mollys after shes texted him to come round -- but then Sally (Sally Whittaker, right) drags him out for a pizza. Can he get away? Meanwhile, Sean goes to the gym with Jason -- and sees a man who takes his eye. Could it be time to start getting into keep-fit? undiluted laddish idiocy, but then thats kind of the point. The one with Tim, the fey war reporter, has been lambasted for homophobia, but I dont think thats fair: Mathew Horne plays him as silly and camp, rather than essentially gay, the sort of character Charles Hawtrey might have done 50 years ago. The material is as up and down as a roller coaster -- too often sketches here mean half- sketched ideas -- but the duo are adept performers. Hornes Marc Bolan-like elfish otherworldliness makes for an elegant complement to Corden, who can exert an infectious energy theres sometimes no resisting (his old school pal from hell is raucously funny). Together theyre engaging enough company for the slightly sozzled and undemanding viewer of a Friday night. 11.00 To Buy or Not To Buy (S). 11.30 Cash In The Celebrity Attic (r,S) Clare francis invites the team into her home to search for collectibles; BBC News; Weather. 12.15 Bargain hunt (r,S).
